300mm fab expansions have been building momentum from April to June 2002. A
picture is emerging that shows Taiwan has a significant early lead, with follow-on
activity that puts Asia as a region, and Taiwan in particular, in a dominant 300mm
fab position. Continuing the in depth report from edition 16, this article looks at
the activities of the major players – essentially who is doing what, and where.
