NVIDIA Corporation, a leading fabless graphics chip supplier, noted in a conference call to discuss 3Q07 financial results that the company headcount stood at 3,627 at the end of the quarter - an increase of 200 compared to the previous quarter. Of the 200, approximately 150 of the new employees were added internationally.

The headcount in the last 12 months has increased by 1,033, of which 735 were international hires, according to the company. The company has also launched its G80 GPU family, which took hundreds of the IC design engineers to complete, over 1,000 man years of effort, and over $400 million to develop, according to Jen-Hsun Huang, Founder, President and CEO of NVIDIA.
