In conjunction with the company's release of its first quarter results, Jazz Technologies has announced that it cut 55 jobs as part of its cost reduction program in the first quarter of this year.  Information on the targeted areas for these cuts was not available.

Jazz Technologies, Inc. has recently announced its takeover of Jazz Semiconductor, Inc.
