In the lead-up to SEMICON Taiwan, VLSI Research has revealed its top 10 equipment suppliers to the Taiwan market based on customer related benchmarking as part of the market researchers annual customer satisfaction report.

Top of the table was ion implant specialist Varian Semiconductor Equipment which had the highest ranking of 9.40 in the ‘Usable Throughput’ category. Novellus Systems came second and scored 8.81 in the ‘Commitment’ category. Third was lithography supplier ASML, which was noted for ‘Quality of Results’ with a score of 8.21.
