Hitachi Kokusai 300mm furnace systemLeading IC foundry, TSMC has placed multiple equipment and machinery orders with Applied Materials, Hitachi Kokusai and Actor. HVAC and cleanroom services firm, Actor, based in Taiwan received orders totalling approximately US$19.1 million, the first orders it has received from TSMC in 2011, according to TSE financial statements from the foundry.

A batch of semiconductor equipment, most probably vertical furnaces worth US$26.4 million was placed with Hitachi Kokusai Electric. The Japanese equipment supplier has already received orders from TSMC in 2011.

Another batch of tools was placed with Applied Materials, worth approximately, US$25.6 million.
