TEL Diffusion furnaces at Inotera's 300mm fabSeveral Taiwan-based IC manufacturers have place recent new equipment orders, according to financial statements to the TSE. Applied Materials has picked up a further series of orders totalling US$28.3 million from foundry, TSMC and a another batch from rival foundry, UMC valued at US$21.1 million.

DRAM memory producer, Inotera has placed a batch of semiconductor equipment orders with Tokyo Electron, totalling US$32.6 million.
