Sven LöfquistMicronic Laser Systems has received an order from a captive mask shop in Asia for a Prexision-8 laser pattern generator to be shipped 2Q09.

”We are now seeing signs of increased capacity utilization within some areas of the display market. Some of the production capacity - that was built up during last year - is now utilized indicating an increased demand for advanced photomasks,” commented Sven Löfquist, President and CEO of Micronic Laser Systems AB. “This is very encouraging and in line with our earlier communication where we stated that investments might come early in the upturn.  This order shows that we have products meeting our customers’ requirements of cost-effective photomask production for future display manufacturing.”
