
This week DRAM memory manufacturer, Inotera Memories has placed a batch of equipment orders with three leading equipment suppliers, Tokyo Electron, Lam Research and Novellus Systems. Inotera is migrating technology to Micron’s stack DDR 3 50nm process. Specific equipment details were not disclosed by Inotera.
Inotera placed orders worth approximately US$28.4 million with TEL. Novellus received purchase orders amounting to approximately US$23.9 million and Lam Research received orders worth approximately US$21.2 million.
Inotera has spent approximately US$120.8 million on capital equipment so far this year.
