Silicon-on-insulator wafer supplier Soitec has boosted its presence in the Far East region with a partnership agreement with China-based semiconductor distributor Catang Electronics Technology, Inc. Under the terms of the partnership, Shanghai Semiconductor Association member Cantang Electronics will distribute, market and support Soitec's products and services throughout China.
