SEMI announced that Nano Green Technology is the recipient of the 2009 SEMI Best of West award, in recognition of the CCS-1000 Critical Cleaning System. This product, unveiled at SEMICON 2009, combines deionised water and ammonia gas to form "coherent" water, a renewable and environmentally friendly cleaning process solution. NGT coined the substance “ionized molecularly-activated coherent solution, ” or iMACS. It can be used in the semiconductor, flat panel display (FPD), liquid crystal display (LCD), and data storage disk drive (DSDD) industries.
A panel of journalists, academics and industry leaders selected NGT for the award based on its engineering or scientific achievement, financial impact, and/or societal contribution with iMACS Tom Morrow, vice president of global expositions at SEMI, remarked, “By their name and their achievement, Nano Green Technology demonstrates tremendous synergy between nano manufacturing and a prosperous sustainable world.”
