VarianVarian Semiconductor Equipment Associates has reached a new company milestone with the shipment of its 500th VIISta single-wafer high-current implant system. The system was ordered by TSMC, the world’s largest pure-play foundry.

We thank all of our customers for their support of our initiatives and for making Varian the leading implant supplier world-wide and the fastest growing major equipment company in the industry.”

According to figures from Gartner Dataquest, Varian Semiconductor achieved a 77 percent market share of the high current implant market in 2007.
