On the back of claiming a 4.9% increase in share of the dry strip market in 2008, based on figures from Gartner, Mattson Technology has said that it gained production qualification of its ‘Suprema’ photoresist strip system a major memory device manufacturer. The customer was said to be planning a rollout of the technology to its manufacturing partners in Asia.

“In today's competitive memory manufacturing, achieving technical results at the lowest cost is imperative,” commented Randy Matsuda Sr. Vice President and General Manager of Mattson Technology's Plasma Products Group. “This acceptance once again demonstrates our leadership position with photoresist strip products in both technology and lowest Cost of Ownership."
