The cost conscious bunch that are members of the Fab Owners Association (FOA) have attracted more members recently, taking the tally to 63 company members. New IC manufacturing category members include TriQuint and Spansion. Additionally, the FOA has acquired several new associate members: SurplusGLOBAL, Inc., Tokyo Electron America, LG Innotek, RAVE N.P., Inc. and Concept Systems Manufacturing.

The FOA IC manufacturing members now represent approximately 1.3 million eight-inch- equivalent monthly wafer starts and approximately US$20 billion in annual revenues.
