Applied SealsApplied Seals North America has broken into the European market with its appointment of a Europe-based product distributor, namely, Semiconductor Parts and Materials (SPM). SPM will distribute Applied Seals’ perfluoroelastomer sealing components and o-rings and will also be on hand to deliver service support to European customers.

Further bolstering the company’s global sales base, this arrangement follows closely on the heels of Applied Seals’ Israeli distribution deal with BTS Baruch & Co. Technologies & Supplies Ltd. The company has major manufacturing centers in Germany, Italy and the U.K.

“Throughout Europe, semiconductor manufacturers are seeking improved cost efficiencies, which our seals’ longer lifecycles enable,” said Dalia Vernikovsky, president and general manager of Applied Seals North America. “Working with SPM and using our expertise in materials science, product design and applications know-how, Applied Seals is now prepared to offer European microelectronics and biotechnology companies the durable sealing technology and local support they need to compete in their fast-paced markets.”
