The Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) has recently elected Vahid Manian as its Vice Chairman of the Board. He is filling the vacant seat that Sanjay Jha of Qualcomm CDMA Technologies left upon his departure. Manian has been with GSA’s Board since 2000.

Manian has worked with Broadcom Corporation for over 10 years and is currently Senior VP of Global Manufacturing Operations for the company. Previously, he held various positions at Silicon Systems, Inc., where he worked for 12 years, six of those serving as Director of Operations.

“Vahid is one of the longest serving board members and has a broad understanding of the structure of GSA and the continuity of his service has benefited our GSA membership,” said Jodi Shelton, co-founder and Executive Director of GSA.
