Korean-based foundry, Dongbu HiTek has lured veteran Texas Instruments
facilities expert and former VP of Worldwide Facilities, Shaunna Black
to become its newly appointed Senior VP of Manufacturing Operations.
Dongbu HiTek noted that the move was to strengthen its manufacturing
core competency and reinforce its competitiveness in the analog IC
foundry space. She will be responsible for directing its two existing
200mm wafer fabs, as well as its facilities, ESH, and test operations.

Prior to joining Dongbu HiTek, Ms. Black spent 24 years at Texas Instruments, holding a variety of senior management positions, including VP of Worldwide Facilities. She spent 5 years as wafer fab manager at TI’s DFAB analog fab, where she was responsible for product, process, and equipment engineering, manufacturing, quality, HR, planning, finance and shipping. As VP of Worldwide Facilities, she was responsible for the design, construction, operations and maintenance of facilities across 25 countries, including ESH, security, and real estate.
