S. MacMillanTexas Instruments has expanded its Board of Directors with the addition of Stephen MacMillan (pictured), President and CEO of Stryker Corporation, a medical device company. Mr. MacMillan will be inducted to the Board in September and brings almost 20 years of management experience in the medical industry to the role.

Mr. MacMillan joined Stryker in 2003 as President and COO and was appointed CEO in 2005. Prior to joining Stryker, he spent four years with Pharmacia Corporation as sector Vice President of global specialty operations. He also spent 11 years at Johnson & Johnson in a variety of management positions including President of Johnson & Johnson-Merck Consumer Pharmaceuticals.
