The newly-announced STMicroelectronics and NXP Semiconductors joint
venture, dubbed ST-NXP Wireless, has announced the management team that
will steer the new company following its completion in the third
quarter of 2008. The company will be headed up by Alain Dutheil,
currently serving as COO of STMicroelectronics, who assumes the role of
CEO of ST-NXP Wireless.
The Executive Committee for the new company includes:
Abhijit
Bhattacharya, who takes up the role of CFO. He currently holds the role
of Financial Controller of the Multimarket Semiconductors Business Unit
for NXP,
Tommi Uhari, current Executive Vice President and
General Manager of STMicroelectronics’ Mobile, Multimedia &
Communications Group,
Marc Cetto (pictured), current Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Mobile & Personal Business Unit for NXP.
