The Silicon Integration Initiative (Si2) has announced the election of its Board of Directors for the 2009-2010 term. Most of the members from last year remain the same, with just one new addition.

The newest elected Board member is Charlie Huang, senior vice president and chief strategy officer at Cadence Design Systems, Inc., who replaces the previous Board representative from Cadence.

"I offer a warm welcome to Charlie as our newest elected Board member, and congratulate all returning Board members. We are extremely pleased to have their insight and expertise on the strategic and business affairs of Si2," said Steve Schulz, president & CEO.

"I am delighted to join the Si2 Board and look forward to taking an active role in this vital organization," said Huang.
