Reidar LangmoCo-founder and former CEO of Oslo, Norway-based REC Reidar Langmo has accepted his seat on the board of directors of Voltaix, the semiconductor materials provider. Mr. Langmo was also a founding partner and CEO of Novus Energy Partners, from which company Voltaix has recently received an investment worth $9 million.

The $9 million investment will be used to continue development of Voltaix’s manufacturing capabilities to meet growing demand for thin film-based solar power and advanced CPU and DRAM products.
