Patrick Little named New CEO of eASICThe eASIC Corporation has designated Patrick Little as their new Chief Executive Officer. Formerly, Little was the Senior Vice President of Products and Market Development of Xilinx. He succeeds Ronnie Vasishta who will remain as President while assuming the responsibilities of Chief Operation Officer.

Little has over 25 years of engineering, marketing, sales and general management experience in the semiconductor and consumer industries. During his time at Xilinx, Little served Vice President and General Manager of the High Volume Products Group, Vice President and General Manager of the CPLD business unit and was the Corporate Vice President of Worldwide Sales & Services. Upon his departure from Xilnx, Little was the Senior Vice President of Products and Market Development. Preceding Xilnx, Little was CEO of Believe, Inc. and Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Rendition, Inc., a graphics IC company acquired by Micron Technology, Inc. Previously, he worked as General Manger of the consumer audio division at Diamond Multimedia Systems, Inc., and held different management positions at Trident Microsystems, Inc., and Opti Inc.

“We are very excited to attract someone with Patrick’s credentials and track record to eASIC,” expressed Ronnie Vasishta. “Patrick’s executive management and operational experience will accelerate the momentum we are seeing in the adoption of our disruptive technologies, including our state-of-the-art 45nm ASIC products.”

Little began his professional career as a systems architect and design engineer at Wyse Technology, Inc. He holds a B.S.E.E. from San Jose State University.
