Mark de JongMarc de Jong, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Automotive and Identification Business Unit of NXP Semiconductors, has announced that he is returning to Philips after spending the last three years at NXP.  NXP Semiconductors was founded by Philips more than 50 years ago. 

de Jong, who worked over 20 years at Philips before joining NXP, will be replaced on an ad interim basis by Rick Clemmer, Chief Executive Officer of NXP, and Alexander Everke.  This decision will go into effect on April 1, 2009.
