NXPThe Memorandum of Understanding signed between NXP Semiconductors and Thomson in February this year comprised an agreement between the two companies to combine their can tuner modules operations in a joint venture. The companies have today announced that the agreement has been finalized and have named the new management team.

The companies had decided in February that NXP would contribute the CEO of the JV, while Thomson would name the company CFO. Heading up the agreement is Pieter Paumen from NXP, while Philippe Nau of Thomson steps into the role of CFO. The companies expect to arrange a workforce of approximately 4,000 employees, most of whom will be from NXP and Thomson manufacturing operations in Indonesia.
