D. DuttonMattson Technology, Inc. has added Nigel E. Wenden to its executive team in the role of Senior Vice President and General Manager, Global Business Operations. Reporting to President and CEO David L. Dutton (pictured), Mr. Wenden brings over 20 years of industry experience to the role that will see him assume responsibility for planning and directing the company’s business operations on a global scale.

Mr. Wenden joins the company from Edwards, following an eight-year stint with the company culminating in a role as Executive Vice President and Director. He also founded and served as President of NWC Consulting in Texas, prior to which role he spent nearly 20 years with Mykrolis Corporation, most recently as Vice President, Gas Products Business Unit. He currently serves as Chair of SEMI's Sales and Marketing Executive Council (capital equipment trade association).

He has a degree in electronic and electrical engineering from Lanchester University in England; a diploma in manufacturing and production engineering from the Chelmer Institute of Technology, Chelmsford, England; and he studied strategic marketing at the Harvard Business School.
