GLOBALFOUNDRIESRecently established GLOBALFOUNDRIES has announced three key additions to its management team.  Jim Doran, Bruce McDougall and Alexie Lee join Chief Executive Officer Doug Grose and Chairman of the Board Hector Ruiz.   

Jim Doran will be the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the primary manufacturing facility in Dresden Germany, Fab 1.  Being in the semiconductor industry for 30 years before joining GLOBALFOUNDRIES, Doran has previously been the Chief Operating Officer of Spansion.  In his three years as Vice President and General Manager of AMD Saxony he was responsible for the Dresden facility, which is now GLOBALFOUNDRIES’ primary location for manufacturing. 

Newly appointed Chief Financial Officer Bruce McDougall has held the same position at EMAL, a US$7 billion power plant project under construction in the UAE in partnership with the Mubadala Development Company.  Before EMAL, he has held management positions in the mining and power generation industry leading functions

Alexie Lee will serve as Vice President and General Counsel.  He has previously been Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Hitachi Global Storage Technologies in addition to many legal positions at IBM, where he managed to aid in merging the IBM Storage Technology Division with Hitachi. 

GLOBALFOUNDRIES is a new joint venture between AMD and Advanced Technology Investment Company (ATIC).
