GLOBALFOUNDRIES, a semiconductor manufacturing company recently formed
by a joint venture between AMD and Advanced Technology Investment
Company (ATIC), announced Jim Kupec will become the company’s new
Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Prior to being named to this position, Kupex was Chief Operating Officer of eSilicon, a leader in ASIC design and manufacturing services, in addition to being President of the United Microelectronics Company (UMC). He has also spent 15 years with Cypress Semiconductor, going from engineering, operations and management positions to Senior Vice President.
