Dr. Kenneth KinSVTC Technologies has appointed Dr. Kenneth Kin to its Board of Directors. Kin is a semiconductor-marketing strategist who was Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Services and Marketing for the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) from 2001 to 2008. 

Before joining TSMC, Kin had been Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Services at IBM Microelectronics and Vice President and Director of Operations for the Computer Group at Motorola Inc.  He has 30 years experience in the chip industry.  

SVTC’s CEO, Joseph R. Bronson, said, “We will benefit tremendously from his experience as we grow our global presence and expand our customer base for outsourced development and low-volume manufacturing services.”

Kin currently holds a position on the Board at the global semiconductor company, SMSC.
