Former Nvidia executive Alex Garcia has joined International Rectifier as Vice President of Compliance, and will oversee the company’s corporate compliance programs and internal audit function. He joins the company from his former role as Senior Director and Head of Internal Audit at Nvidia Corp.

He joined Nvidia in 2003, prior to which role he was Director of Internal Audit at BEA Systems for three years. He also worked with Hewlett Packard in various financial reporting and internal audit roles earlier in his career. Mr. Garcia has a B.B.A. in accounting from the University of Puerto Rico and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.

International Rectifier Corp. is an analog chip manufacturer based in California.
