Conexant expands Board

Matthew E. MassengillConexant Systems, Inc. has apointed William E. Bendush and Matthew E. Massengill (pictured) to the company’s Board of Directors, bringing the total number of members to eight. Mr. Bendush will serve as chairman of the board’s Audit Committee and will sit on the Board Governance and Composition Committee, while Mr. Massengill will sit on the Board Governance and Composition and the Compensation and Management Development Committees. AMD Corporate VP departs; Emilio Ghilardi joins to run EMEA sales

Werner Mohr CATRENE (Cluster for Application and Technology Research in Europe on NanoElectrics) has named Werner Mohr (pictured) as Vice Chairman for the cluster programme with immediate effect. Mr. Mohr, a member of the SEMI Advisory Board and a seasoned semiconductor executive, retired from his active roles with Infineon in May 2008 and joins the CATRENE endeavour for technological leadership for the European ICT industry.
