FujitsuFujitsu Microelectronics America, Inc. has announced the appointment of Shinichi "James" Machida as President and CEO, effective from June 23rd, 2008. Machida leaves his role as President of Fujitsu Microelectronics Asia Pte. Ltd. (FMAL) in Singapore, and Fujitsu Microelectronics Pacific Asia Ltd. (FMP) in Hong Kong, and replaces Kazuyuki Kawauchi, who takes up another role with Fujitsu Microelectronics Limited, Japan in September. Read more >>

In a statement released by Infineon yesterday, the company announced the resignation of Dr. Erk Thorsten Heyen, Corporate Vice President and head of Strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions.
