Michael J. Luttati (pictured), CEO of Photronics since May 2005, has
announced his resignation from the role and from his seat on the Board
of Directors with immediate effect. Mr. Luttati, who joined Photronics
from a role as COO and Executive Vice President at Axcelis
Technologies, will remain as a consultant to the Company to aid in the
transition.

Texas Instruments has expanded its Board of Directors with the addition
of Stephen MacMillan (pictured), President and CEO of Stryker
Corporation, a medical device company. Mr. MacMillan will be inducted
to the Board in September and brings almost 20 years of management
experience in the medical industry to the role.

AMD has announced the replacement of six-year CEO Hector Ruiz
(pictured) following months of speculation regarding the company’s
overall wellbeing. Mr. Ruiz will take up the role of company Executive
Chairman and Chair of the Board of Directors, while current AMD
President and COO Dirk Meyer takes over as CEO. Mr. Meyer has served as
COO since 2006 and has been with AMD since 1995.

Dr. Jackson Hu, former CEO and Chairman for UMC, announced his
resignation from the roles after more than five years, but remains with
the company in a senior advisory role. Following this announcement, the
company has confirmed that it has appointed a successor to each of Dr.
Hu’s two former roles. Dr. Shih-Wei Sun (pictured), current COO, has
been appointed to the position of CEO, while Mr. Stan Hung has been
named UMC Chairman.

Joy Leo (pictured), a financial and corporate management veteran of the
technology industry, has joined PDF Solutions as Chief Administration
Officer. Ms. Leo joins the company from her role as CFO, Senior Vice
President and Secretary for Credence, from which role she resigned in November 2007
after a seven-month tenure. In the new CAO role, she will report to
company CEO John Kibarian. The role will see Ms. Leo take
responsibility for all company administrative activities.
