Karl-Henrik Sundström appointed CFO for NXP Print E-mail

ImageNXP Semiconductors has appointed former Ericsson CFO Karl-Henrik Sundström (pictured) to serve as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President. Mr. Sundström replaces Peter van Bommel, who departed the company for personal reasons while agreeing to aid the company in its upcoming joint venture with STMicroelectronics.

He has been with Synplicity since 1998 and was appointed to the role of Vice President of worldwide sales in 1999. His past career has seen him serve on the board for SpiraTech Corp. prior to its takeover by Mentor Graphics.
