Air Liquide Industrial U.S. LP, a subsidiary of American Air Liquide Holdings, Inc., revealed today its plans to increase the prices for industrial gas customers. Prices for bulk oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, and helium will increase by 15 percent, carbon dioxide and dry ice prices are due to rise by 10 percent while argon will have a price increase of 20 percent. The new prices will come into effect on October 15.

The increase in prices is slated to offset the growing manufacturing costs and to provide re-investment capital to increase plant capacities and fund efficiency improvement projects that are supposed to benefit customers.

Air Liquide Industrial U.S. LP provides bulk gases to U.S. customers in the chemical, food, pharmaceutical, metals and automotive industries. The increase will also affect the semi-conductor, photovoltaic and related industries.
