Gary Meyers (pictured), President and CEO of Synplicity, Inc., has been added to the Board of Directors for Exar Coropration. He has been with Synplicity since 1998 and was appointed to the role of Vice President of worldwide sales in 1999. His past career has seen him serve on the board for SpiraTech Corp. prior to its takeover by Mentor Graphics. 

Meyers also held management roles at LSI Logic Corp. earlier in his career, including a role as Director of Marketing for LSI's communication products division. He also worked as an ASIC designer at TRW, Inc. He has an M.B.A. from UCLA and a B.S.E.E. from the University of Maryland.
