Patriot Scientific has appointed industry veteran Donald Schrock to its Board of Directors. Schrock retired from his role as Executive Vice President and President of Qualcomm CDMA Technologies Group in 2003, having spent seven years working with the fabless company. 

Prior to joining Qualcomm, Schrock worked in a variety of executive posts at GM Hughes Electronics, Applied Micro Circuit Corporation, Burr-Brown Corporation and Motorola Semiconductor. He also served on the board of directors of Jazz Semiconductor until its merger with Acquicor Technology in 2007.
