Executive resignation and appointment announced by Fujitsu Microelectronics Print E-mail

H. OkadaIn a quickly turned-around operation, Fujitsu Microelectronics has announced the resignation of President and Representative Director Toshihiko Ono for personal reasons and the subsequent appointment of Haruki Okada (pictured) to the newly vacated role, effective immediately. 

Mr. Okada joined Fujitsu Ltd. in 1973 and in 2000 was appointed to the role of Group President, Procurement Group. He then worked his way upwards through the executive ranks to be named Corporate First Senior Vice President, Director and Head of the Supply Management Group in 2007. He has a Bachelor’s degree in political science from Keio University.

Fujitsu Microelectronics, Inc. is a major IDM.
