ImageSMIC has appointed former Goldman Sachs partner and Managing Director Shirley Lin to the role of Chief Strategic Advisor, reporting directly to SMIC President and CEO Dr. Richard Chang. Ms. Lin brings a wealth of international management experience to the advisory role.

At Goldman Sachs & Co., Ms. Lin headed up the Principal Investment Area of Asia in the company’s Merchant Banking Division, during which time she saw and managed investments of more than $1 billion over 11 countries.  She aided in the launch by the PIA of companies including SMIC and Alibaba, and began her time with Goldman Sachs working in corporate finance roles. She also worked with Morgan Stanley earlier in her career.
