April 15th will see the beginning of Kiev Polytechnic Institute’s XXVIII International Scientific Conference, at which Patrick Kane, Cypress Semiconductor’s University Alliance Director, will deliver a presentation. The title of this address is “Encouraging Student Innovation: The Cypress Innovator Design Challenge,” which will include information regarding the objectives and origins of the contest and showcase presentations from past winners of the competition.
Open to all engineering students in participating accredited universities, the Cypress Innovator Design Challenge is a design competition in which all participants must conceive new ways of employing Cypress’s technologies. The regional winners of the contest will be invited to an interview with the company regarding possible employment or internships.
Professor Martin Bradley from Letterkenny Institute of Technology in Donegal, Ireland will present his use of Cypress’s PSoC devices in education, while Dr. Rajesh Gupta of the University of California San Diego will also present his findings. Cypress will also host a PSoC workshop at the event where students will be introduced to the company’s software and its practical applications.
