KLA-Tencor Executive moves to head up sales for Nanometrics Print E-mail

ImageMichael Fischer, a former KLA-Tencor executive with over 23 years of experience in the semiconductor and process control industries, has been named as Head of Worldwide Sales for Nanometrics, with immediate effect. 

Mr. Fischer spent nearly 20 years of his career with KLA-Tencor, in roles including senior sales and engineering roles and Senior Director of Worldwide Sales of the company’s Reticle Inspection Division. His time with KLA culminated in his most recent role as General Manager of the Global Qimonda Business Unit. Fischer also worked in sales and engineering roles with Siemens AG.

Nanometrics, Inc. is a metrology systems manufacturer based in California.
