Chinese Foundry CSMC picks Toppan Photomasks as best supplier |

 CSMC Silicon Foundries has acknowledged a mask manufacturer for the first time as its best supplier in 2007. Under its ‘Top 10 Best Supplier Award’ system, Toppan Photomasks was the recipient of the award.
“By consistently meeting our demanding performance objectives and service requirements, Toppan has played an important role in the success of CSMC,” said Elvis DENG Mao-Song, President of CSMC Silicon Foundries. “They are a strong example of the reliable and valued partnerships we need to continue expanding our business.”
Toppan Photomasks attributed the honor to its 10-year-plus commitment in China, having built a photomask-manufacturing facility in Shanghai. This facility, located near major semiconductor fabs, is part of a joint venture with Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology (SIMIT).
