Pyxis recruits two veteran advisors |

Pyxis Technology, Inc. has enlisted the expertise of two industry veterans as advisors for its Board. Jim Hogan (pictured), an EDA and venture capitalist expert and General Manager of Vista Ventures Partners, and Ed Charrier, Vice President and General Manager of KLA-Tencor, bring an aggregate of over 50 years of industry experience to the company.
Jim Hogan’s past career has included a role as Senior VP of business development and senior member of the Office of the Chief Technologist at Cadence Design, where he worked with Cadence founder and Pyxis Board member Jim Solomon. Hogan was a Cadence Executive Fellow during his tenure with the company. He has also worked with National Semiconductor, Philips Semiconductor, and is on the Board of Advisors for San Jose University’s School of Engineering. Mr. Hogan has a B.S. in computer science, a B.A. in mathematics and an M.B.A. from San Jose State University.
During his 20 years in the industry, Ed Charrier has worked in the areas of software development and management and also on lithography and DFM software. He currently holds the role of Vice President and General Manager of KLA-Tencor’s Process Control Information Division, having previously served as COO for FINLE Technologies, which was acquired by KLA in 2000. He has a B.S.E. in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.
