MEMSIC has designated Mark Laich as the newest executive in the company as VP of Worldwide Sales. Laich brings over 20 years of experience in semiconductor sales and intellectual property licensing with high growth companies to MEMSIC with experience establishing worldwide sales, managing culturally and geographically diverse sales teams, managing the sales of semiconductor products and creating relationships with customers.

"I am very excited to be joining MEMSIC,” Laich said. "The company’s proprietary technology positions MEMSIC for rapid growth. MEMSIC’s differentiated components and solutions approach is unique and creates compelling opportunities for the company.” 

Laich was previously VP of Sales at Potentia Semiconductor, where he directed worldwide sales of the company’s power management and conversion products. He has also held senior sales management positions at Azanda Network Devices, Lexra, ZSP, LG and Zilog and began his professional career at AMD.
