KMGKMG Chemicals, Inc. has announced the addition of two new members to its Board of Directors and the retirement of one of its long-serving executives, Charles Neff, who retires after 17 years of service. Joining the board are Gerald G. Ermentrout and Christopher T. Fraser, two veterans of the chemicals industry.

Mr. Ermentrout, who recently retired from Air Products and Chemicals, brings over 30 years of experience in industrial gases and electronic chemicals to KMG. He joined Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. in 1975 and held positions including Vice President and General Manager of the Electronic Chemicals Division, part of which was in turn acquired by KMG in December 2007. He has also held managerial roles at the company’s oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen plants and pipeline systems. Mr Ermentrout has a B.Sc.  in engineering from the US Naval Academy and an M.B.A. from Lehigh University.

Currently serving as CEO of Chemical Lime Company, Mr. Fraser has also served as President and CEO of OCI Chemical Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of DC Chemical Co. He joined OCI, a producer of soda ash and sodium percarbonate, in 1990. Earlier in his career, he worked in a variety of sales, business development and general management roles. Mr. Fraser has a B.Sc. in chemistry and business administration from the University of Connecticut and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.

KMG Chemicals, Inc. is a chemicals provider to the semiconductor industry.
