Clyde HusseinEffective as of June 23rd, Clyde R. Hosein (pictured) has been named as CFO for Marvell Technology. Mr. Hosein replaces George de Urioste, who has served as interim CFO since January 2008, and who now takes up the role of Acting COO. Former Acting COO Pantas Sutjarda now assumes the responsibilities of company CTO.

Mr. Hosein joins the company from Integrated Device Technologies (IDT), where he served as CFO Prior to IDT, he held the same role with Advanced Interconnect Technologies (AIT), and also earlier in his career with Candescent Technologies Corporation. Fourteen years of his 25 years of experience in the industry were garnered from IBM, where he worked in various departments including corporate, storage and microelectronics.

A member of the board for Cree, Inc., Mr. Hosein has a B.S. in industrial engineering from Polytechnic University in New York and an M.B.A. from New York University Stern School of Business.

Marvell is a fabless company.
