ESI announces passing of Edward J. Swenson Print E-mail

ImageEdward J. Swenson, a 46-year veteran of ESI, Inc., has passed on, the company announced yesterday. Mr. Swenson joined the company in 1961 and during his time with the company held such roles as product manager, Vice President (in 1979), head of the Advanced Research Group (in 1985) and then Senior Vice President of R&D. 

He had recently become a semi-retired employee of the company, operating as a consultant to the company’s Interconnect and Micro-Machining business unit. He was a life member of IEEE, and a member of SPIE and IMAPS. Mr. Swenson had also served as Chairman of the Industrial Advisory Board for Oregon State University’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
