ImageA special evening discussion hosted by the International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) will see “green” electronics manufacturing issues at the fore. Taking place in the San Francisco Marriott Hotel on February 3rd, the event will be co-chaired by AMI Semiconductor’s Jan Sevenhans and Infineon’s Rudolf Koch.

With a general topic for the evening of “Green Electronics: Environmental Impacts, Power and Ewaste,” the event promises a thorough overview of the various facets of remaining environmentally conscious in the electronics industry.

Speakers will each present a 10 to 15 minute talk on being environmentally aware within their respective areas of expertise, and include representatives from IMEC, Greenpeace, MIT and Amkor. Further information on the event is available here.
