A special evening discussion hosted by the International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) will see “green” electronics manufacturing issues at the fore. Taking place in the San Francisco Marriott Hotel on February 3rd, the event will be co-chaired by AMI Semiconductor’s Jan Sevenhans and Infineon’s Rudolf Koch.
With a general topic for the evening of “Green Electronics: Environmental Impacts, Power and Ewaste,” the event promises a thorough overview of the various facets of remaining environmentally conscious in the electronics industry.
Speakers will each present a 10 to 15 minute talk on being environmentally aware within their respective areas of expertise, and include representatives from IMEC, Greenpeace, MIT and Amkor. Further information on the event is available here. By Síle Mc Mahon
