Dutch conglomerate acquires Integrated Dynamics Engineering Print E-mail

ImageAalberts Industries (AI) has said that it has acquired an 80 percent shareholding in Integrated Dynamics Engineering GmbH and 100 percent ownership of sub-systems supplier Integrated Dynamics Engineering, Inc. IDE will be integrated into AI’s Industrial Services division to boost its presence in the semiconductor industry and specifically in the field of lithography, according to the company. 

IDE employed 160 people and generated annual revenue of approximately €32 million. IDE’s founder and CEO has retained 10 percent of the shares in the company and is said to be continuing to lead the company going forward. Details concerning the purchase price were not disclosed.
