Emerson sells Brooks Instrument to private equity firm for $100 million Print E-mail

ImageEmerson has sold its specialty flow measurement and control division Brooks Instrument to private equity firm American Industrial Partners for approximately $100 million in cash. Brooks Instrument had sales of approximately $90 million in 2007, according to Emerson. 

Emerson said that in the last 18 months it had sold several small businesses and was becoming more focused on high-growth, high-return businesses.
