Editor-in-Chief and Publisher changes at SST magazine |

 PennWell, publisher of Solid State Technology magazine, has announced major senior personnel changes at the publication both at editorial and managerial levels. Phil LoPiccolo (pictured), Editor-in-Chief of Solid State Technology (SST) magazine since June 2005, has left the company, effective January 2, believed to be for personal reasons after many years at the company.
Barbara Goode, Editor of PennWell’s Small Times publication, has been appointed the new SST Editor-in-Chief, while continuing her role as Editor of Small Times.
Chris Platt, Group Publisher of Solid State Technology and Advanced Packaging magazines since November 2006, is leaving the company to pursue other interests.
Former SST Publisher David Barach is rejoining PennWell in a more senior position after leaving the position a year ago to start his own company. Barach will now serve as Group Publisher of Solid State Technology, Advanced Packaging, CleanRooms, and Small Times publications.
In another related move, John Haystead, the current Editor of CleanRooms, has been appointed Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of the publication.
